Join a Committee

The Friends of the Bismarck Public Library Board of Directors is seeking members to serve on three different committees, with the purpose of helping our organization to grow in its capacity to support the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library and provide cultural opportunities to the community. Volunteers are needed for the following committees:

• ·         Annual Book Sales Committee: Members of this committee will assist with management of the Spring (March) and Fall (October) book sales.
• ·         Community Outreach and Marketing Committee: Members of this committee will work to identify opportunities for cultural programs and events (such as author events, speaker series, etc.). They will also work to identify ways to promote and market the Friends of the Library in the community, via social media and other channels.
  
• ·         Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee: Members of this committee will work to identify and implement ways to increase membership and retain current members.
