About Us

The Friends of the Bismarck Public Library is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the active promotion and support of the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Friends seek to:

    • Build an active membership of citizens who support the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library
    • Enhance and expand the library's capacity as a community resource through fundraising
    • Promote awareness of the library's services and spotlight the value of the library in our community
    • Sponsor programs, cultural activities, and personal enrichment opportunities for citizens of all ages

The Board of Directors meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM int the Missouri River Room at the library (no meeting in April or December). All members are invited to attend.
